I fell in love with peanut sauce years and years ago.  I love using it in my stir fry, with grilled chicken, with noodles or rice - I could go on and on!  Needless to say that when I starting eating clean finding a ‘clean’ peanut sauce was on my to do list.  Here is my favorite peanut sauce to date - it’s so very savory!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!


  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter - smooth variety
  • 2 tbsp low sodium tamari
  • 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic - minced
  • red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp yogurt cheese (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)


  1. Mix together the first 4 ingredients until smooth (add in whatever optional ingredients you’d like).

I am a wuss when it comes to spicy foods so if you want a little kick to your sauce then add a pinch of red pepper flakes.  You can also add a tsp of sesame oil for a different flavor combination.  To make a creamier and thicker sauce add in 2 tbsp of yogurt cheese - I often do this when I need to use a larger amount of peanut sauce but don’t want additional calories!
